MindFu

An Introduction

This is a collection of material on the subject of cognitive control, as well as tangential topics, that I hope will highlight why it is crucial to be your own thinker.

The Central Philosophy of Mindfu

The use of the brain and human cognition, guided by the anatomy of the nervous system, and electrical activity in the body. Anything that influences the mind or can alter thought, either directly or indirectly, should be included. Social constructs, historical events, and personal accounts that are related will be attached, however, gaining mastery over this complex system is the goal of MindFu.

The body is a biological machine that you can train to perform at a higher level by exercising and getting the right nutrition. Nothing new there, but in nature and in the civilized world, there are innumerable threats to your health that need to be anticipated and protected against. The first and most important defense mechanism is the brain, which can be trained just like the body by building simple habits over time. The routines you will learn involve using multisensory activity, novel scenarios, and split focus to aid in the growth and connection of neurons. This is called neurobics - the workouts look different, but these are actions that anyone can perform, and that everyone should. If you want to feel safer knowing that you are armed with the tools to shape your perspective and gain a deeper understanding of the world around you, please continue reading, and try some of the beginner routines. Remember, defense starts in the mind.
